Coming November 2026: SpongeBob the Musical
Our fall production has been cast! Thanks to all who auditioned.
Performance dates are: November 6-8 and 13-15. Friday shows are at 7:30 p.m. and the Saturday and Sunday shows will be matinees beginning at 2:30 p.m.
Rehearsals: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 7:00 – 9 p.m. Expect a few Wednesday and Saturday additional rehearsals for choreography. Mandatory dress rehearsal Sunday afternoon, October 25. A more complete schedule will be available the day of auditions.
About the show: When the citizens of Bikini Bottom discover that a volcano will soon erupt and destroy their humble home, SpongeBob and his friends must come together to save the fate of their undersea world. With lives hanging in the balance and all hope lost, a most unexpected hero rises up. The power of optimism really can save the world!
SpongeBob SquarePants has been a beloved part of pop culture since it first aired in 1999. Beyond the underwater antics and colorful animation, the show has offered moments of surprising wisdom. SpongeBob’s determination and ability to see the bright side in every situation have inspired countless fans across generations.

The SpongeBob Musical is based on the Nickelodeon animated television series SpongeBob SquarePants and made its world premiere in June 2016 at the Oriental Theatre in Chicago. The musical opened on Broadway at the Palace Theatre in December 2017. With twelve Tony Award nominations, it tied with Mean Girls for the most-nominated production at the 72nd Tony Awards in 2018. A TV special featuring original Broadway cast aired in 2019, and the tour closed in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
