The Portland Civic Players are excited to announce the cast for their 2024 fall production of Disney’s The Descendants.

Based on the popular Disney Channel Original Movies, Disney’s Descendants: The Musical is a musical jam-packed with comedy, adventure, Disney characters, and hit songs from the films!

Imprisoned on the Isle of the Lost – home of the most infamous villains who ever lived – the teenaged children of Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Jafar, and Cruella De Vil have never ventured off the island… until now. When the four troublemakers are sent to attend prep school alongside the children of beloved Disney heroes, they have a difficult choice to make: should they follow in their parents’ wicked footsteps or learn to be good?

Leading the production as the Villian’s kids are Emberlynn Dilley as Mal, Jazlyn Morales as Evie, Sam Thelen as Carlos and Emerson Dibean as Jay.  Villian parents will be headed up by Kelly Sandula-Gruner as Maleficent, Emily Perry as Cruella, Lydia Bowling as the Evil Queen Brumhilde and Alex Port as Jafar. The cast is rounded out with Dan Braker as the “King Beast”, Amber Miller as Queen Belle, Cooper Wittenbach as Prince Ben, Haven Miller as the Fairy Godmother, Claire Jandernoa as Jane, Simon White as Chad, Maddison Clelland as Audrey, Jay Bell as Doug, Claire Reynolds as the Royal Page, Aaron Swan as Maurice, Leon Miller as the Museum Guard, and Sarah Jandernoa as Coach.  Ensemble members are Maddy Sharp, Natalie Bengel, Peyton Heron, Rana Tekinel, Rachel Jandernoa.
